The School of Health Sciences at the University of Nottingham aims to undertake cutting edge, ambitions and collaborative teaching and research. We are a forward thinking community of academic excellence, transforming the lives of diverse individuals and communities locally, nationally and internationally. The School of Health Sciences has been ranked 4th in the UK for its research quality following publication of the REF2021 results. The school was part of a joint return with the School of Pharmacy. 96% of our submitted research was judged to be world-leading or internationally excellent and our research environment was rated 100% world-leading. In terms of our educational provision, the School of Health Sciences boasts two National Teaching Fellows and three Principal Fellows of Advance HE who are part of a team of colleagues that deliver excellence and innovation in education across Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions. The School operates a partnership working model of education by actively engaging students in developing the environment in which they learn, and supporting them to become the best healthcare professional they can be. Our staff and students are routinely shortlisted for national awards for their contribution to healthcare.
