AJ Chamos is a Lecturer in Adult Nursing at Ulster University, with a clinical background in coronary care. AJ is undertaking a PhD focused on co-developing and testing the feasibility of a hybrid cardiac rehabilitation programme for people living with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). The research explores how combining centre- and home-based models with digital approaches may improve access to and engagement with cardiac rehabilitation. AJ’s wider teaching and research interests include digital health, technology-enabled models of care, and the use of digital technologies in nursing education. A particular focus is on how digital innovation can support patients, enhance learning experiences, and prepare future nurses for evolving healthcare environments.
