Working in haematology-research as a Practice Educator I am dedicated to improving patient experience of cancer care with novel treatments which are delivered safely and by specialised nursing teams. I am also dedicated to supporting nursing colleagues in the confidence and competence of delivering those treatments and caring for haematology patients. The student experience is very important to me as they are our future workforce, and it is a great feeling when they are excited about the concept of clinical trials and the future of cancer care which can inspire them to want to come and work in specialist areas post qualification.
