Ikechukwu (Ike) Onyenaobia is a Registered Nursing Associate at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, with a background in Human Physiology and Public Health. His professional interests include compassionate, person-centred care, quality improvement, inclusion and the development of the Nursing Associate profession. During his apprenticeship, Ike was recognised nationally as the 2026 Student Nursing Associate of the Year at the Student Nursing Times Awards. He has also contributed to service improvement, nursing education and national conversations around the Nursing Associate role. Ike is passionate about supporting future healthcare professionals and creating opportunities for others to develop, contribute and thrive.
