Chiquita Cusens is the National Nurse Lead for Primary & Community Care working within NHS Wales Performance and Improvement. She is a Queens Nurse and has extensive clinical and operational experience within community health and social care, identifying new ways of working, developing and transforming services. Chiquita is passionate about the role Nurses have in leading and enabling care for individuals to stay at or close to home, at both an individual, neighbourhood and system level. Chiquita’ role provides strategic nurse leadership and expertise to specific programmes of work and organisations in Wales.
