Our Charity Partner - The Laura Hyde Foundation

We are delighted to reveal that the Laura Hyde Foundation is to be the official charity partner for the Student Nursing Times Awards 2022.

The charity were previously our partners for the 2021 Nursing Times Workforce Awards and we are very pleased to be able to invite them back this year for our second largest annual awards event.

The Laura Hyde Foundation, now in only its fifth year, is the UK’s leading charity dedicated to providing mental health support for our emergency services. As well as nurses, it offers support to a range of roles including doctors, GPs, paramedics, midwives, healthcare assistants, fire, police and care workers.

Setup in 2018 following the suicide of nurse Laura Hyde, the charity has grown to a national level charity with representation in over 98% of hospitals across the UK. The support available from the charity covers three core areas. This includes providing mental health practitioner level support via its free independent support service hub.

It also provides free clinical consultancy to wellbeing leads and senior management within NHS hospitals and funding grants for organisations to promote and improve staff wellbeing.
