Erika has been a senior lecturer in Nursing for the last 10 years, moving after 25 years from a successful and enjoyable clinical career in critical care. Her areas of interest includes critical/acute care, simulation, pedagogy and practice learning. Recently, she was part of the lead project team that embedded the South PAD into practice across the southern region. During the Covid pandemic, Erika has been part of an international research team looking at the role of virtual simulation training for student nurses in recognising early deterioration. She currently leads on the development of practice learning, at the University of Chichester within the inaugural School of Nursing and Allied Health.
