A Registered Nurse, Registered Nurse Teacher, and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, with 40 years of experience as a nurse, 22 years in clinical practice in the NHS, and 18 years’ experience of working in Higher Education.

Sue is currently the Head of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Sunderland providing strategic academic leadership and operational management for a diverse group of subject areas including, nursing, midwifery, allied health professions, biosciences, healthcare sciences, sport and rehab therapies, apprenticeships and a large health CPD/CWD portfolio.
