I am a registered Midwife and SCPHN Health Visitor currently working with the Children’s Safeguarding team at KCHFT in the East of Kent. Most recently I have proudly been awarded the Queens Nurse title. I completed my MA in Healthcare in 2022 at the University of Greenwich and following this was very honoured to receive the SNTA Learner of the Year – Post Registration 2023. Since then, I have continued to disseminate my work in raising awareness of Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting. I plan to continue my studies and most recently completed the NIHR pre-doctoral bridging scheme.
