Jennifer Syson is a Research Matron and Research Midwife at Bradford Teaching Hospitals Trust and an NIHR Senior Research Leader. Jen has extensive expertise in research delivery and is an experienced Principle Investigator. She currently supports the clinical research delivery workforce at BTHFT as Matron and is working to develop the capacity, capability and research leadership opportunities for the workforce. She is the current chair of the NIHR Reproductive Health and Childbirth Research Champions group and as a previous Regional Yorkshire and Humber Co-Specialty group lead and Champion midwife, is a passionate advocate for Women’s health research and developing RH&C research delivery careers.
