University of West London
The College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare at the University of West London provides a dynamic portfolio of undergraduate and post-graduate programmes for entry to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Professional Register in all fields of nursing and midwifery. This alongside our Operating department practitioner programmes and health care provision. Our students are from diverse backgrounds and create a rich and exciting learning population. Our extremely responsive post-graduate and continuing professional development provision, supports qualified practitioners in further developing their specialist knowledge and practice. The Richard Wells Research Centre within the College, supports post graduate and doctoral students in the fields of mental health, patient safety and infection, maternal well being and learning disability. Our state of the art Simulation centre allows students across all courses the opportunity to rehearse skills required for competent practice. The College has two campuses - Brentford ( London) and Reading ( Berkshire). It engages at a high level with its partners and the local community in North West London and Berkshire; and with its public involvement partners across two localities.
This work is supported by a dynamic and engaged team of academics and researchers, who are experienced practitioners too.
