Mynesha Sankar is a Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing at London South Bank University. An experienced Registered Nurse and Educator with a background in Acute Respiratory Medicine and Practice Education. Now an academic with a teaching interest in Care of the Deteriorating Patient, Acute and Complex Care, and Clinical Skills in both pre and post-registration education. Mynesha has held numerous job roles within academia which includes a Cohort Leader, Lead Link Lecturer, Course Director, and Interim Deputy HOD for Adult Nursing. Her research interest is on the Theory Practice Gap in student nurses’ education; specifically, how students connect theory to clinical practice to facilitate their learning and professional development.
