Deb McNee is a Child Nursing Lecturer at Swansea University predominantly teaching undergraduate nursing students. She has held this position for nearly 3 years and teaches across many other specialities including public health, paramedics, audiology, and osteopathy. Her background is in child health with over 30+ years’ experience. The majority of this experience was within primary care, first as a children's nurse and then as a Health Visitor. She holds an MSc in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing and has a specialist interest in vulnerable groups, health promotion and paediatric palliative care. Her last clinical position was as a Specialist Health Visitor for Gypsy and Traveller families. This was a challenging but rewarding role of which she felt privileged to have worked with those families.
