Chris has worked as a nurse consultant for 20 years, specialising in liaison psychiatry before specialising in forensics and psychiatric intensive care. He's the author of four books, including 'Nurses and Politics' and 'Risk Assessment and Management in Mental Health', and numerous articles and book chapters. He's presented conference papers across the UK, Europe and North America and now leads the Reducing Deaths in Custody Project across the London prisons on behalf of NHS England. Chris has been the recipient of three Student Nurse Awards.
