Caroline Gibson, MSc, PGCE, RN (adult), RNT, FHEA
I am a Senior Lecturer in the Division of Nursing at Queen Margaret University, winners of the 2019 SNTA Best Student Experience Award. I am committed to supporting effective student transition to university and the provision of high quality learning opportunities for undergraduates and postgraduates. My current role involves collaborative working with a range of local stakeholders to introduce programmes of Advanced Clinical Practice and Paramedic Science to our institution. My clinical interests involve the role of the third sector in prompting, supporting and maintaining health and wellbeing in the community. As part of my ongoing practice I contribute to community food education classes where I can combine my passions for facilitating learning, enjoying hearty meals, contributing to social justice and reducing social isolation.
