Throughout my career, I have distinguished myself as a creative thinker in education, both nationally and internationally. I advocate for person-centred care and integrate lived experiences into nursing education through my leadership of a service user and carer group . I organise online drop-in sessions to foster student, service user and staff engagement and create videos with service users which when shown in class link theory to practice. I've connected student nurses internationally and facilitated webinars promoting cultural appreciation. My initiatives aim to embed innovative teaching methods in education resulting in students increased understanding and application of patient-centred care
